Oh my word. What an incredible restaurant. I have had the best dumpling that I’ve ever had in my entire life. I regret not getting a double order of the Crab Pork Bao. Every item was very delicious. During the entire meal the staff was so very attentive, proactive, and receptive. I like dumplings, but this place blew my expectations out of the water. I am/was speechless. A new place that you ought to try. Nice work.

If you’re looking for a cute place for dim-sum with friends - You’ve found your place!! A new restaurant with cozy digs and amazing interior decor - this freshly opened dumpling story location is new enough to walk into without a reservation, and delicious enough to warrant a revisit. With a full bar coming soon I will definitely be coming back!

My litmus test for Chinese restaurants is how good their Zha Jiang Mian is. This passed the test with flying colors. The sauce is nice and fermented, not too salty, but not weak. The veggies are nice and crisp. The scrambled egg is a nice touch. Most importantly, the noodles have this nice doughy texture that gives a great chew, and not too thick. The noodles are also not too dry and not too soupy. It’s been a while since I had a good bowl. This made my night.

Ordered Green Onion & Ginger Noodles but they tasted more like Noodles with Oyster Sauce. I still loved them though. I liked the spicy wontons we ordered but I think next time, I will ask for it without the sesame sauce. I'm more used to 紅油炒手 being just chili oil but this was not bad. I did get the Juicy Pork Bao but I didn't post a photo because everyone else already did. Be careful when you bite into them or you just may squirt your neighbor.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at this new restaurant on Valencia Street. The noodle dish, dumplings and scallion bread were all well prepared and tasty. The decor is elegant and relaxing, and the wait staff is attentive and helpful. My only feedback for this new restaurant is that the price point for many of the dishes is a bit high (20%). Overall, Recommended

We had fresh cucumber with garlic sauce, numb and spicy pork xiao long bao, chicken xiao long bao, vegetarian pan fried baos and sauteed jalapeno with dried tofu. Everything was so good, especially the numb and spicy pork xiao long bao and vegetarian pan fried baos.

Amazing dumplings & a fun experience! Must try all types cause all of them are great, specifically stir-fried. Also had all of the vegetables in the menu and they were very tasty. Highly recommended!

Dumpling Story consistently delivers great service and delicious food. The soup dumplings are always amazing—perfectly juicy and flavorful. While the dry-fried buns are just okay, the small appetizers are packed with flavor and feel really refreshing. The seating is also quite comfortable, which adds to the overall pleasant dining experience.
